The CUNA Mutual Group announces the appointment of Mr. Andre Goindoo to the position of Managing Director and CEO of CUNA Caribbean Insurance Society Limited; its wholly owned subsidiary in the Caribbean.

CUNA Mutual Group is the principal provider of group insurance and other financial services to credit unions and affinity groups in North America, Europe and the Caribbean.

Mr. Goindoo served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Group's Latin America and Caribbean Operations from 2006 to 2010 and was also responsible for developing the regional compliance function at the time.  He has spent the last year as the General Manager of the Caribbean operations leading a strong and highly competent team.  In his new role, he will continue to lead the group's operations throughout the Caribbean region spanning, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Guyana, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago via regional offices in Trinidad and Jamaica.
