|Former Co-Operator Awarded Dominica's Highest Award and Elected President of The Commonwealth of Dominica|

His Excellency Eluid Thaddeus Williams, former Commissioner of Co-operatives of the Commonwealth of Dominica, was bestowed with Dominica’s highest award, “The Dominica Award of Honour” and then subsequently sworn in as the www.auburg.de seventh President of the Commonwealth of Dominica on Monday 17th September 2012.
President Williams, a stalwart Credit Unionist, gave yeomen service to the Co-operative Movement. Starting off his illustrious career as a Senior Coop Officer I, he then received a temporary appointment as Registrar of Co-operatives during 1981 while the incumbent Registrar at the time was on special leave at the ILO/DANIDA. He was appointed to serve as Commissioner of Co-operatives from July 1985 to June 1987.
In 1995, Mr. Williams was elected to the Board of Directors of http://radiosyndicationtalk.com/celebrex-without-prescription the Roseau Co-operative Credit Union and he was elevated to serve as its President from 1997 to May 1999. He then moved to the upper echelon of the National Credit Union Structure where he served as Director of the Dominica Cooperative Credit Union League from 1999 to 2002.
In addition to his sterling contribution to the Co-operative Movement, His Excellency Williams also distinguished himself in the Public Service at the national and topics buy viagra Regional levels. He served as a Permanent Secretary in both governments of Prime Ministers Eddison James and Roosevelt Skerritt from 1987 to 2004.
At a regional level, he contributed to the reform of the telecommunications sector while serving as Managing Director of the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) from 2004 to 2008.
