MADISON, Wis. — Credit unions have made great strides worldwide thanks to consumer disillusionment with for-profit banks during the recent financial recession, but generally speaking there is still a need to better articulate the credit union difference in a way that resonates with today's consumers.

MADISON, Wis. — Time is almost up to nominate individuals and organizations for World Council of Credit Unions' Distinguished Service Award. Nominations for the global credit union movement's top individual and organizational honors are due no later than March 30, 2012.
